Care Instructions for Afro Locs and Afro Wigs

1. Washing
Thoroughly wet the hair with lukewarm water.
Wash the hair using shampoo diluted with water.
Gently cleanse the hair without rubbing the strands together.
Rinse the shampoo out thoroughly.

2. Conditioning
Apply a moisturizing conditioner to the entire length of the hair.
Leave it on for 5–10 minutes.
Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.

3. Drying
Gently squeeze out excess water and wrap the hair in a towel for a few minutes.
Then allow the hair to air dry naturally. Afro wigs are best dried on a wig stand or hanger.
Do not use hot air when drying.

4. Separating the Strands
While the hair is still damp and hanging on a wig stand or hanger, you can lightly spray it with a leave-in moisturizing conditioner.
Gently separate the strands using only your fingers.
Do not use a brush or comb.

5. Tangles
Gently separate small tangles with your fingers.
If a tangle is too tight to separate, carefully trim only the tangled section with small scissors.

6. Daily Care
Regularly separate the strands with your fingers.
If needed, use a moisturizing leave-in conditioner spray to keep the hair soft, hydrated, bouncy, and easy to separate.
